Education for Climate Action

This brief aims to shape the next generation of proactive, responsible, and climate-conscious citizens to meet Finland's decarbonization goals. The commissioners, listed in the project details, hope to bridge the gap between government policies and students' experiences in learning environments by using education as a tool for systemic change.

Why Climate Education

Climate change is the greatest challenge facing our civilization. Educating the public about its causes and empowering them to be part of solutions is crucial for catalyzing systemic change. Knowledgeable citizens alone are not enough to tackle climate change. We need active citizens who create change themselves.
